Who are we?
Leah Samson: A native of Rochester, NY, Leah is majoring in Wildlife Science at SUNY-ESF. In the past, she has done independent research on water quality in western New York, and is very passionate about environmental issues. Her interests include hiking, travelling, fly-fishing, and hunting. Nate Jaenecke: Residing in Buffalo, NY, Nate is majoring in Conservation Biology at SUNY-ESF. He comes from a line of ESF grads and has grown up visiting the Great Lakes, having first hand experience on the effects of HABs. He likes to hike, scuba dive, and explore the outdoors. Stephanie Suttenberg: From Great Neck, NY, Stephanie is majoring in Conservation Biology at SUNY ESF. Her interests are entomology, drawing, and dabbling in a little bit of everything. She’s actually on top of Lake Ontario in this photo! Chloe Armato: From the lower Hudson Valley area of Monroe, New York, Chloe studies Environment Biology at SUNY-ESF. She enjoys capturing moments and nature in pictures and loves to perform whether it be singing, dancing or acting. She loves beaches and exploring bodies of water and the creatures that reside within them. Chloe is researching the topic of algal blooms this because of her strong interest in aquatic ecosystems and the adaptations of organisms to life in different aquatic environments. |
